Frequently asked questions

What type of South African meats do you offer?

Our selection includes authentic South African boerewors, biltong, and Bedouin sausage—always kosher and made from the finest cuts of meat.

 Where is the meat processed?

All our meat is processed at the Hakazavim butchery in Sderot, Israel, ensuring the highest standards of quality and kosher certification.

When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

How can I be sure the meat is of high quality?

We source only the finest cuts, ensuring the meat is processed with care at our family-owned facility. Our quality checks and kosher certifications guarantee premium products.

What is the shelf life?

At Gaia’s Pantry, we recommend consuming our air-dried products, like biltong and drywors, within six months for optimal taste and freshness, when stored properly. As these products still retain a bit of moisture, it's important to keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. Exposure to extreme conditions can cause condensation inside the package, potentially leading to mold. For best results, store your products in an airtight container to preserve their flavor and quality.
